2024: Revenue growth 6.5 times to 67.5 billion rubles

The revenue of Gak Motor Rus LLC, representing the interests of the Chinese automaker Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. in the Russian market, reached 67.5 billion rubles in 2024, an increase of 6.5 times. A significant increase in financial indicators was accompanied by a record level of net profit - 2 billion rubles. According to reports published on April 7, 2025, the company demonstrated a steady expansion of commercial activities against the background of high consumer demand and growth in sales of the GAC model range in Russia.

The cost of sales increased 6.2 times - to ₽56,2 billion, and gross profit increased 8.4 times and reached ₽11,3 billion. The company's profit before tax over the past year amounted to about ₽2,4 billion.

Automaker GAC has 6.5 times annual revenue in Russia

Commercial expenses of Gak Motor Rus increased to ₽4,8 billion compared to ₽576,6 million in 2023. In particular, over the year, the company allocated more than ₽1,5 billion for advertising and almost ₽1,6 billion for logistics services.

Other expenses of the distributor increased to ₽4,1 billion from ₽35 million in 2023. The main contribution to the growth of this indicator was made by negative exchange rate differences in the amount of more than ₽2 billion, as well as expenses on subsidizing bank rates in the amount of more than ₽1,4 billion.

The distributor's reserves at the end of 2024 increased 3.3 times - up to ₽22,9 billion. Accounts payable for the year increased 2.7 times and amounted to ₽29 billion.

The company's record financial performance is associated with a significant increase in sales of GAC cars in Russia. At the end of 2024, sales increased 7.7 times - to 19.675 thousand cars.

By April 2025, Gak Motor Rus LLC offers crossovers of GS8, GS8 Traveler, GS3 and GS4 models, as well as premium M8 minivans on the Russian market. In 2025, the brand's lineup in Russia expanded with Empow sedans.[1]
