FBK Grant Thornton, founded in 1990, is one of the oldest companies in Russia. The company provides a range of services in six main areas:

• audit of statements prepared in accordance with RAS and IFRS;
• services in the field of taxes and law;
• assessment;
• financial, accounting, management and IT consulting;
• outsourcing;
• business education.

In addition to audit and consulting practices, FBK Grant Thornton also includes the FBK Law Firm and the FBK School of Economics and Law.

'Grant Thornton'refers to the brand under which Grant Thornton International member firms provide audit, tax and advisory services to clients, and/or to one or more member firms, depending on the context. FBK is a member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd (GTIL). GTIL and member firms do not form an international partnership. GTIL and each member firm are a separate legal entity. Services are provided by member firms of the organization. GTIL does not provide services to customers. GTIL and its member firms are not agents of each other, have no obligation to each other, nor are they responsible for the actions or omissions of other member firms.

1996-2005

2005. Creation of the FBK Non-Profit Partnership. The main goal of NP is to unite professional companies around FBK operating in various regions of Russia and sharing the philosophy and values ​ ​ of FBK. Currently, FBK has partners in the Central, South, North-West, Ural, Volga and Siberian Federal Districts. FBK-Volga Region (Kazan) and FBK-South Ural (Chelyabinsk Region) operate under a single brand.

2005-2008. Time of the largest projects in the field of audit, assessment, IFRS, taxation, financial consulting for the flagships of the Russian economy.

2004. Joining the team of the audit company Finescourt to FBK. Launch of MBS Axapta in FBK.

2003 - creation of a solution for generating tax reporting of enterprises based on Microsoft Business Solutions Axapta

2001. Creation of the FBK Economic Club. On this site, media representatives got the opportunity to communicate with well-known economists, entrepreneurs and statesmen.

2000-2002 Implementation of the Russian Audit Reform project as part of a consortium with PKF (UK) and Helm Corp (Northern Ireland). With the active participation of FBK specialists, the Law on Auditing and eleven professional standards were prepared.

2000 FBK met its tenth anniversary as one of the largest and most respected Russian audit and consulting companies. The driving factor of its further development was the focus on the clear organization of all key aspects of the business, the gradual development of new markets and types of services.

In the same year, FBK was appointed one of the auditors of the Bank of Russia (in a consortium with Deloitte and Touche).

1998 FBK becomes General Consultant of Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.

1996. Start work as an auditor and consultant on projects funded by international financial institutions (IBRD, EBRD, TASIS). FBK has long been one of the active participants in this sector of audit and consulting services, having implemented more than 200 projects in this area.

In the same year, FBK specialists completed several large-scale projects under the Program of Limited Control and Audit of Enterprises with Partial State Participation, commissioned by the Ministry of State Property of the Russian Federation.

1995: Renamed "FBK" and joined the PKF association

1995. The company "Contact" changed its name to LLC "Financial and Accounting Consultants" or LLC "FBK." The FBK brand quickly became widely known.

In the same year, 1995, FBK became a member of the international professional association PKF. PKF is more than 200 offices of national audit and consulting firms operating in more than 120 countries using uniform methods and quality standards. One of the key requirements of membership in the PKF association is the provision of services that meet the requirements of international standards.

1994. Start working with the largest companies - the flagships of the Russian economy. Contact already has more than 200 customers.

1990: Founding of Contact

September 12, 1990 - the date of foundation of the company (until 1995 - the company "Contact"). Its creation was attended by a group of accounting and economic analysis specialists who previously worked at the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. Among the founders were the heads of the company S.M. Shapiguzov and E.G. Proskournya.
