2020: Attraction of 8.3 million rubles of investments

The Grows.ai project allowing users to save and invest attracted on the investment StartTrack platform 8.3 million rubles from 36 retail investors. The company is going to allocate the raised funds for development of a MVP product and marketing. Announced this StartTrack on December 29, 2020.

The transaction was performed in the sector Venture investments of the StartTrack platform. For the investment attraction JSC Grouz Tekhnologii was created. In total the company sold 2.5 thousand shares on 4.5 thousand rubles apiece that makes 14.8% of a share in society. The maximum amount of investment was 927 thousand rubles, minimum - 90 thousand rubles, the average amount of investments - 230 thousand rubles. A partner of StartTrack is JSC Registratorsky Society Status which is entering into the Sberbank group and acting as the holder of the shareholder register and depositary within this transaction.

The Grows.ai project suggests users to postpone automatically the small amounts from each purchase and to invest them according to the selected strategy. For December, 2020 Grows.ai has 5.5 thousand users who registered in testing of a product. In May, 2021 the release of the application in AppStore and PlayMarket is planned. The company is going to bring within three years the audience to 200 thousand active users.

For several months I addressed several tens potential investors: to representatives of venture funds and banking sector, angel investors. Among them there were those which were ready to invest, but for a majority share in the company. I refused such offers that on start of the project not to depend on the strategic investor and his opinion on development of the project. StartTrack allowed to attract investments using incorporating that allowed to save 85% of the project for founders and a command. The platform in online the mode undertook many operational processes – made agreements with investors, developed schemes of incorporating and many other things. Change in the Russian legislation allowed small and medium business to use incorporating as the instrument of the investment attraction also.
