2022: Kaspersky Lab bought 15% of Neuromorphic Technology Motif

On June 20, 2022, it became known about the sale of shares in the Motive NT company to Kaspersky Lab. Its participants did not disclose the cost of the transaction. It is alleged that investments in the development of "Motive NT" entered the perimeter of the transaction.

According to Arthur Shubaev, vice president of Advance Capital, the deal could amount to "several tens of millions of rubles" and was due to the demand for the development of high-tech products within the country.

As noted by the Director of the Department of Advanced Technologies, Kaspersky LabAndrey Dukhvalov joining the shareholders of Motive NT will give the company access to neuromorphic technologies to "form the global technological ecosystem of Kaspersky Lab." Dukhvalov added that the current investment in Motive NT is the first round of investments; in the coming years, Kaspersky Lab expects to increase its share.[1]
