Angara Airlines is one of the main air carriers on local airlines in Eastern Siberia. It operates regular passenger flights in the Irkutsk region, Siberia and the Far Eastern Federal District, as well as charter flights in Russia.

Plane crash in the Amur region

On July 24 Amur region Russia , the passenger An-24RV of the airline crashed. "Angara" The victims were all 48 people on board.

Rosaviatsia banned Angara from operating commercial flights. On July 24, 2025, an An-24 passenger plane of the Angara airline, flying on the route Khabarovsk - Blagoveshchensk - Tynda, crashed 15 km from Tynda. He disappeared after he went to the second round before boarding. 48 people were killed, including five children. On October 27, 2025, the Federal Air Transport Agency canceled the certificate of the Angara operator for transportation. The company will not be able to operate commercial flights from November 5, 2025.[1]
