The asset management solution Infor EAM is widely used industrial by enterprises around the world to comprehensively improve the efficiency of production assets and digitalize all maintenance processes. Its implementation allows customers in almost any industry to optimize investments in maintaining production funds. Infor EAM is a platform IT for managing production funds, which can be deployed both according to the classic scheme at the customer's computing capacity and in a private cloudy environment, as well as on the vendor's specialized cloud platform, which is accessed by subscription. Against the background of the evolution of the EAM market from traditional enterprise asset management systems to APM systems (Asset Performance Management; Asset Performance Management) Customers need increasingly versatile solutions to manage their entire asset lifecycle - from design and construction to operation. The sale of the EAM business and the conclusion of a strategic agreement with Hexagon will allow Infor to integrate the capabilities of EAM technology with Hexagon's achievements in the field of digital reality, including sensors, software products and autonomous technologies.
"Expanding Hexagon's portfolio with such a solution as Infor EAM is a significant step in the development of our company," commented Andreas Weisbecker, CEO of Intergraph PPendM, a subsidiary of Hexagon AB in Russia. - For our region, this is especially relevant, since the need for solutions with a complete cycle from design to operation is long overdue. With Infor EAM and a highly qualified team, we can now significantly expand our operational efficiency offerings to customers. With Hexagon solutions, new customers will be able to determine the optimal path from design to operation, and existing customers will be able to use the accumulated data to manage production assets in accordance with global practices. If earlier industrial enterprises had to solve the problems of managing production assets separately and using various solutions, now Hexagon will be able to offer not only the APM (Asset Performance Management) platform, but also a whole range of solutions that harmoniously complement EAM in the classical sense. Our goal is not only to close the cycle from design to operation, but also to provide customers with a platform for comprehensive and comprehensive management of production assets, optimization of total cost of ownership and long-term planning of equipment investments.
