2025: Launch of fully robotic TV production

The Belarusian company Horizon has launched a fully robotic TV production using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. This became known at the end of October 2025.

Such production is organized according to the principle of "lights out," which implies a minimal presence of personnel. All key operations are performed by industrial robots. Machine vision, deep learning and predictive analytics technologies allow you to check hundreds of quality parameters for each product. The press service of "Horizon" said that this production has no analogues in the CIS countries and Europe.

The production lines of the Belarusian enterprise use the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) system and are synchronized with the ERP platform, which ensures transparency and management of resource consumption. Digital twin technology is also used, which allows you to create virtual copies of production processes to optimize them and reduce operational costs.

The general director of the holding, Yuri Predko, announced the concluded contracts for the supply of new products, including at the beginning of 2026. New AI TVs feature intuitive context, seamless search for customized content, and smart home systems management.

Deputy Executive Director of the Central Committee of the NTI for big data MSU Garnik Harutyunyan noted that robots manual labor on assembly lines is gradually being replaced. At the same time, there is a growing need for engineers involved in robotics, specialists in supporting artificial intelligence systems, as well as analysts who process production data. Harutyunyan stressed that in a competitive environment, enterprises that automate processes and make decisions based on data gain an advantage.[1]
