2025: Humanoid Robot Store Opens

In November 2025, the world's first humanoid robot store was opened in Wuhan, China. The new outlet will work on the expanded "7S" concept, which is an evolution of the well-known "4S" automotive model.

The store's range includes robots capable of performing tasks in more than ten different areas, Ecns said. Their applications cover not only industrial production, but also cultural tourism, the provision of medical services and special operations.

The "7S" format was developed by the Hubei Province Humanoid Robot Innovation Center. In addition to the traditional functions of the "4S" format - sales (Sales), service (Service), spare parts (Spare parts) and customer feedback collection (Survey) - three fundamentally new areas have been added to the "7S" format: the provision of ready-made solutions (Solution), demonstration of opportunities (Show) and educational programs (School).

According to the chairman of the board of the center, Li Zhengxiang, the most budgetary segment is small humanoid robots. Their cost does not exceed 100 thousand yuan ($14,060), while prices for the simplest base models start at 70 thousand yuan ($9,842).

The following price category is occupied by models on a wheeled platform equipped with two manipulators. Their growth is comparable to that of humans, but they have no legs. Their price reaches 200 thousand yuan ($28,120). The most technologically advanced and anthropomorphic devices, having both arms and legs and imitating human movements as accurately as possible, cost about 500,000 yuan ($70,300).

Li Zhengxiang is confident that further industrialization of the production of humanoid robots will inevitably contribute to a decrease in their market value and will make this technology more accessible to a wide range of consumers.

Buyers can not only immediately purchase the robot they like, but also order individual refinement of its functions for specific tasks, as well as use various financial support programs to make a purchase.[1]
