- Azar - a video chat which instantly translates voice and text messages and allows users to communicate with people of the whole world freely. Since launch in 2014 the total quantity of loadings of Azar exceeded 540 million (by February, 2021);
- Hakuna Live is the interactive application for video streaming in real time which allows to carry out group video and audiobroadcastings with different additions. Since launch in 2019 Hakuna Live was loaded more than 23 million times (by February, 2021).
History
2021: Match Group purchased Hyperconnect for $1.73 billion
In the middle of February, 2021 the Match Group company owning the application for Tinder acquaintances announced acquisition of Hyperconnect for $1.73 billion. The company will pay purchase with own money and actions. It is expected that the transaction will be closed in the second quarter 2021 after obtaining permissions of regulating authorities.
As reported in the press release devoted to the transaction, a lot of work regarding research and development allowed Hyperconnect to start mobile scalable video technology WebRTC (Real-Time Communication) which attracted huge audience to the products Hyperconnect. Unique features and use of AI allow users to use the Azar and Hakuna Live applications for safe and dynamic communication.
