2025: Opening of a new 8-storey building

In May 2025, the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology, which is the largest center for reconstructive and aesthetic medicine in Russia, completed the expansion of its clinical base and opened a new eight-story building. The modern building with an area of ​ ​ more than 8000 square meters. meters will increase the number of operations to 20 thousand per year.

Thanks to this expansion of the clinic, the number of operating rooms increased to 22, and the bed capacity increased to 125 places. The new building dramatically expands the capacity of the medical institution to provide specialized patient care.

The Director General of the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology Yury Grib noted that an increase in operational activity to 20 thousand interventions per year means not just numbers, but thousands of people with their stories, whose lives will change the modern possibilities of medicine and the professionalism of the institution's specialists. According to him, the Institute is one of the world's top plastic surgery clinics, the conditions created meet the best world standards, and doctors have the most modern methods and can carry out almost any of the possible operations.

In addition to expanding the possibilities for providing high-tech medical care, the Institute continues to actively work on the introduction of innovative methods and training specialists.

Thanks to the new facilities, the clinic will be able to significantly reduce waiting times for planned operations and receive more patients who need reconstructive interventions after injuries, cancer operations and with birth defects. Special attention in the new building is paid to modern technologies for postoperative recovery and rehabilitation of patients.^[1]

2009: Transformation of FSUE into JSC

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, on April 3, 2009, FSUE Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation was transformed into JSC Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology. The founders of the joint stock company are not disclosed.
