History
CEO Dmitry Zhuravlev on the history of the company (September 2012):
For more than 20 years, the ICFER brand has existed on the market. Since 2004, the consulting direction of the holding, ICFER Consulting, began to work and successfully develop. We, as an independent IT company, as a separate legal entity, stood out a little later, this happened literally on the eve of my arrival here, in 2009. For a young company, the use of a strong and well-known brand that has existed on the market for more than 20 years, naturally, carries a certain benefit. Therefore, until recently, we did not advertise our own name and simply used this legal entity for work. But with the growth of the client base, with the growing recognition of the "Information Technology Agency" in the market, it was decided that the time had already come to completely bring its own brand to the market. CNews: An interesting coincidence - in 2009 a legal entity stands out, in 2010 you come. Is there a causal relationship here? Dmitry Zhuravlev: The business owners decided that a new person with practical experience in implementing large-scale IT projects and knowledge of industry expertise should become the CEO. An offer was made to me to lead the company. Prior to that, I mainly dealt with issues related to the implementation of solutions on the SAP platform. I have tried myself in various positions and seller, and presale, and implementation consultant. Some time ago I worked at SAP CIS. After that, he moved to a partner company, which was then called IDS Scheer Russia and the CIS countries, where he headed the consulting direction of SAP. CNews: Before you came to the agency was SAP practice? Dmitry Zhuravlev: Until now, our company has not had its own SAP practice. I do not exclude that in the future we will begin to engage in this product line, but for this there should be a great need for our target customers. If one of them, or new customers, expresses a desire, including to receive and implement solutions based on SAP products, naturally, first we will analyze all the pros and cons, and we may open such an examination at home. It should be a mutually beneficial aspiration. Just creating a business direction, in my opinion, is unreasonable. Recently, among our key partners of IBM, Microsoft, as well as BARS Group[1].
