The Insurance Laboratory is exclusively engaged in the development and standard technical support of the core of the IT platform for insurance activities - KIAS: Insurance, which is introduced and operates in more than 10 insurance companies in the markets of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since 2012, the implementation and extended technical support of KIAS during its operation with End Users (development in the environment of the system core) has been transferred to the responsibility of the LAN Partners. At the same time, the LAN continues to fulfill all obligations assumed under the agreements until the specified date.
The personnel of LAN consists of highly qualified specialists who have extensive practical experience in Russian insurance companies in key positions in IT and finance. Several leading LAN specialists have accounting degrees and titles.
In the process of its development, KIAS has evolved from a reliable well-detailed accounting system to a high-tech IT platform, which provides not only accounting for all the data necessary for insurance activities, but also effective support for all business processes of the insurer.
KIAS has a number of functional advantages that allow the insurance company's business to reach a new level of transparency of insurance accounting almost immediately after the implementation of the system and receive an objective picture of the state of affairs in sales channels, the partner network, the profitability of products and in other aspects necessary for effective business conduct. This is ensured by the availability of fully described insurance products for compulsory types of insurance in KIAS, all software interfaces necessary for communication with the unified federal insurance databases, a software interface with the 1S.Buhgalteria accounting system, as well as powerful tools for configuring the system to meet the individual requirements of the end user.
The implementation of KIAS facilitates the construction of optimal and economical business processes in insurance companies, the qualitative distribution of the insurer's resources during all types of insurance operations. In addition, KIAS allows you to fundamentally improve the client service of the insurance company at all stages of interaction with the client - from the sale of the policy or its extension to the service of the client in the process of settling claims.
Since 2012, in connection with the increase in business volumes, Insurance Laboratory has identified projects for the implementation of KIAS and its post-sale services in a separate area of activity and transferred this direction to a subsidiary of LS-Pro.
