IVC The main task of the commission will be to develop measures to ensure. CII safety Recall that critical information infrastructure (CII) is a set of information systems and networks telecommunication that are critical for the work of key areas of life states and society:,,,,, health care rocket industries, communications, transport power engineering specialists fuel, and space, mining sectors metallurgical and chemical industry financial urban economy.
The first task of the "Regulation on the Interdepartmental Commission of the Security Council of the Russian Federation on ensuring the technological sovereignty of the state in the development of the critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation" is to assess the level of technological independence of CII facilities from foreign technologies and develop proposals for import substitution. Everyone involved in this process needs to be clearly aware: the further development of CII largely depends on the criteria that will be used to assess its technological independence. Moreover, the criteria for assessing not only the used imported infrastructure, but also the Russian solutions that replace it are important - said Grigory Sizonenko, General Director of IVK. - It is extremely important to involve in the expert assessment the developers of Russian software and electronic products that know how to identify foreign solutions disguised as domestic ones. If critical sectors of the Russian economy rely on operating systems that develop on the basis of foreign repositories, or on processors built on borrowed architecture, the country will find itself in the reality of "Technological Dependence 2.0." Such self-deception will cost the state billions of rubles from the state budget, will become an obstacle to the development of its own technologies and will not allow Russia to become one of the world leaders in the IT industry. |
