Informatization of society in Russia

Informatization of society is the saturation of society with information - news about events, goods services, exhibitions, fairs, markets, etc. The informatization of society in the KhKh1 century in connection with the development of the international computer network of the Internet is increasingly understood as the saturation of society with information using information and communication technologies based on the global computer network of the Internet.

Informatization (English Informatization) - policies and processes aimed at building and developing a telecommunications infrastructure that unites geographically distributed information resources.

Informatization processes are the result of the development of information and telecommunication technologies and the transformation of the technological, product-oriented method of production into a post-industrial one. Informatization is based on cybernetic methods and controls, as well as means of information and telecommunication technologies.

Several stages can be distinguished in the activities of authorities to develop and implement state policy in the field of information society development in Russia. At the first (1991-1994), the foundations in the field of informatization were formed.

The second stage (1994-1998) was characterized by a change in priorities from informatization to the development of information policy. The third stage, which continues to this day, is the stage of policy formation with the field of building an information society. In 2002, the Government of the Russian Federation adopted the federal target program "Electronic Russia 2002-2010," which gave a powerful impetus to the development of the information society in Russian regions.

A special role in teaching computer literacy and mastering the latest information technologies is given to computer science, which since 1985 has been studied in all secondary schools in the country and since 1991 in all higher educational institutions of Russia.

Since 2007, all secondary schools in Russia have been connected to the global Internet and equipped with basic packages of programs for the development of computer literacy and the latest information technologies, using closed commercial and free open source software.

Within the framework of the Priority National Project "Education," the introduction of open domestic software and the organization of a computer-legal educational program in universities and schools are carried out
