2021: Detention of the founder of the company in Dubai

In April 2021, Russian IT entrepreneur Alexei Tsertov was detained in Dubai (United Arab Emirates, UAE) in a case related to a scandalous photo shoot of naked girls in a hotel in the city. This was announced by the Telegram channel Mash. Kontsov is accused of violating public morals.

A photo shoot with naked girls, whose organization is accused of Alexei Kontsov, took place on the balcony of the Dubai Marina Hotel. The first to report this was the British newspaper The Sun. After that, the video with this event spread on social networks.

Dubai police promptly responded to the incident and arrested a dozen of its participants, as well as persons involved in organizing the shooting and distributing videos of what was happening on the Internet. According to the laws of the Emirates, the distribution of such content is illegal.

Initially, the arrest of Russian citizens was reported. However, then the Russian consulate general in Dubai said that there were no Russians among the detainees. The detained girls are citizens of Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus. They face a fine and imprisonment of up to six months.

At the same time, the consulate general confirmed to RIA-Novosti the fact of the detention of a Russian citizen accused of organizing a photo shoot. At the same time, the Baza Telegram channel reported that the End is not directly related to the organization of this photo shoot. He only rented a number opposite, went to the balcony and saw what was happening, after which he shot this event on the phone and posted a video on the Internet.
