2018: The beginning of the goods delivery to Russia
Since October, 2018 the international online marketplace of Joom begins to deliver to Russia all ordered goods using home logistic company Joom Logistics. It was registered in China at the beginning of 2018, and as of October, 2018 through the company to Russia more than a half of all orders issued on Joom marketplace is already delivered, reported TAdviser on October 9 in Joom company. It is expected that it will allow to reduce the average time of delivery of orders to the large Russian cities from twenty to five-ten days.
Reduction of delivery dates is supposed to achieve, first of all, thanks to optimization of logistic processes and a control system of deliveries. The solutions Joom Logistics also allow to simplify work of the Russian postal service performing delivery of orders of Joom within the country. One of such innovations — preliminary sorting of sendings according to regions of departure which is performed by Joom Logistics even before sending to Russia.
