2020: Liquidation

By order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated December 22, 2020, the Kemerovo Institute (branch) of the Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov liquidated^[1].

2014: Branch activities

As of November 2014, more than 4.3 thousand students studied at the university in undergraduate, specialty and master's programs. Graduate school worked, every year over 1 thousand students improved their qualifications within the walls of the university. The intellectual core of the university was highly qualified teachers, of which more than 70% had academic degrees and titles, experience in practical work. Kemerovo Institute (branch) of FSBEI HPE "Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov" was an applied platform for testing scientific research, a center for youth innovations in the field of trade and entrepreneurship.

2012: Joining Plekhanov Russian University of Economics

By order of the Ministry education and science RUSSIAN FEDERATION of December 20, 2012 No. 1075, the Kemerovo Institute (branch), RGTEU annexed to the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov received the name Kemerovo Institute (branch) of the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov.

2002: Renaming to Kemerovo Institute (branch) of RGTEU

By order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia dated August 28, 2002 No. 2106-l, the institute was renamed the Kemerovo Institute (branch) of the state educational institution of higher professional education "Russian State Trade and Economic University."

1999: Renamed into Kemerovo Institute (branch) of Moscow State University of Commerce

By order of the Ministry of Trade of the Russian Federation dated 22.06.99. No. 283 Kemerovo Institute of Moscow State University of Commerce was renamed the Kemerovo Institute (branch) of Moscow State University of Commerce.

1998: Renamed Kemerovo Institute of Moscow State University of Commerce

Based on the decision of the Academic Council of the Moscow State Unitary Enterprise of 24.03.98., Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation of 05.10.98. No. 277, the consent of the Ministry of General and Professional Education of the Russian Federation (Letter of 25.05.98 No. 30-06-309), by order of the Moscow State Pedagogical University of 21.10.98 No. 231, the Kemerovo Institute of Commerce of the Moscow State University of Commerce was renamed the Kemerovo Institute of Moscow State University of Commerce.

1995: Renamed Kemerovo Institute of Commerce, Moscow State University of Commerce

By order of the State Committee for Trade of the Russian Federation dated 25.09.95. No. 84 The Kemerovo Institute of Commerce of Moscow Commercial University was renamed the Kemerovo Institute of Commerce of Moscow State University of Commerce.

1993: Transformation into Kemerovo Institute of Commerce of Moscow Commercial University

Pursuant to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 03.11.93. No. 1105, by order of the Russian Federation Committee on Trade dated 19.12.94. No. 106 The Kemerovo branch of Moscow Commercial University was transformed into the Kemerovo Institute of Commerce of Moscow Commercial University.

1991: Transformation into Kemerovo Branch of Moscow Commercial University

By the decision of the Academic Council of Moscow University of 25.12.91., By order of the rector of the university, the Kemerovo Territorial Faculty was transformed into the Kemerovo branch of the Moscow Commercial University.

1990: Transformation into Kemerovo Territorial Faculty

By the decision of the Academic Council of the Moscow Commercial Institute of September 26, 1990, by order of the rector of the Moscow Commercial Institute of 05.10.90. No. 202 Kemerovo UKP was transformed into the Kemerovo Territorial Faculty.

1963: Opening of a training and consulting center

In the city of Kemerovo, the educational and consulting center (UKP) of ZIST was opened in 1963 by Order of the Ministry of Trade of the RSFSR of November 19, 1963 No. 657.
