2025: Plant Launch

The AgroEco group of companies has launched the second stage of the Kimovsky pig breeding complex in the Tula region with an investment of more than ₽10 billion, designed to contain 50 thousand pigs and produce 10 thousand tons of pork per year. A high-tech enterprise with maximum automation of all processes, including animal feeding, will create 70 new jobs in the Kimovsky district of the region. The official opening of the production site took place on September 23, 2025.

The new complex is a modern automated production, where technological processes require minimal human participation. Maintenance of the entire site will be carried out by a team of 70 specialists, which demonstrates a high degree of manufacturability of the enterprise.

Tula region for ₽10 billion launched a new pork plant

The production cycle at the complex is 176 days, during which the animals gain approximately 120 kg of live weight. The enterprise is equipped with specialized departments for various stages of breeding pigs - from fertilization of sows to the maintenance of newborn piglets in special compartments with heated floors and berspoons.

Veterinary specialists of the complex report high reproduction rates of livestock. Sows on average bring in 17 piglets in one farrow, and some individuals show even higher results. The frequency of sprouts is twice a year, which ensures stable reproduction of the herd.

By 2025, Agroeko holding ranks sixth in the list of the largest pork producers in the Russian Federation with a share of 5.7%. The company is also one of the seven largest feed producers in the country, which ensures vertical integration of the production chain.

In the Tula region, AGROECO controls 80% of regional pork production, developing production facilities in four districts - Efremovsky, Kurkinsky, Volovsky and Kimovsky. Territorial distribution of assets allows the company to effectively use the raw materials base and logistics capabilities of the region.[1]
