In September, 2015 the official site of the British^[1] opened]. On pages of the website it is told that the founder of fund which volume is $500 million is Denis Sverdlov, the founder of Yota operator and the former Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia.

In LinkedIn social network Sverdlov also specified in the questionnaire by work location Kinetik company.

Purpose of fund

In the description of fund it is said that it is ready to invest in the ideas and to work with entrepreneurs since a concept stage.

"We look for the ideas free from country and cultural restrictions. We are not interested in gradual changes. We want to break the markets, to repeatedly define the industries and to give to people the chance to change their way of life. We want to create a collection of the unique companies, everyone them which will be a new hit (next big thing)".

One of two directors of fund on the website Kinetik specifies Vladislav Shevyrev who was earlier working at the London offices Colt Technology Services, HP, Accenture and Citigroup.

The second - Alexey Tikhonov. To Kinetik he worked as the director of merges and absorption in Polyus Gold and the analyst in FC Otkrytiye.

As one of top managers in Kinetik fund Svetlana Yershova works. In 2013-2014 she was the director of organizational department in the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, and earlier was responsible for personnel problems in Yota, the Russian office Microsoft and other companies.

It is interesting that neither Svetlana Yershova, nor Denis Sverdlov in the description of the experience on the website Kinetik tell about activity in the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, being limited to mentioning of business companies. In their questionnaires in LinkedIn social network of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications as work location it is specified.

Communication with shareholders of Yota Devises

In the British register of legal persons as the CEO of KINETIK UK LIMITED company Eric Lyuks - the expert in the real estate, one of founders of the Luxembourg fund Genii Capital is specified.

The Genii Capital fund is the main owner of Lotus F1. In January, 2014 the Vedomosti newspaper wrote that owners of Yota Devices company Sergey Adonyev and Albert Avdolyan purchased a share in Lotus F1. The co-director of a command Gerard Lopez (the second founder of Genii Capital) then declared "the agreement with YotaPhone (the Russian smartphone and a main product of Yota Devices) and its shareholders".

The first investments

According to information on the website Kinetik, the fund already invested in three projects. TAdviser wrote about two of them in June, 2015 - it is Tatakoto and Charge R&D companies.

The first develops the solutions VLab based on which producers will be able to release the user medical analyzers of blood. The collected analysis results, according to the concept of the company, will create the card of health of Earth. In Tatakoto a number of natives of Yota works.

The second is engaged in creation of power units for commercial electric vehicles - trucks and buses.

The name of the third company on the website Kinetik does not reveal. It is told only that it works on creation of the solutions for the Internet of things.
