History

1958: Establishing a company

1958 Due to the rapid population growth in the southwestern district of Kirov and in connection with the construction of the TETs-4, a health center, a therapeutic area and a pediatric office were opened, which were located in the school of working youth on the street. Lomonosova, 8 and was in the state of city hospital No. 1.

1962

1962, Based on the decision of the Kirov City Council of Workers' Deputies of 04.12.1962 No. 1001 and decisions of the executive committee of the Oktyabrsky district of the health department of 06.12.1962 for No. 33, the medical unit of the TETs-4 has been opened since 12.12.1962.

The chief doctor of the medical unit was appointed Grakhova Z.S., the head nurse - Matantseva A.P. The medical unit served 10 thousand adults and 3.5 thousand children.

The staffing list included 42 positions. There were 3 therapeutic sites, 1 workshop, 3 pediatric, a health center of a brick factory. The appointment was made by a surgeon, obstetrician - gynecologist and dentist.

1964

1964 g. Medical sanitary station occupied the entire floor of the school building for working youth, which made it possible to open a laboratory and an X-ray office.

1967

1967 In connection with the need to develop specialized types of medical care, a two-story standard building was commissioned at: Tsiolkovsky St., 18, where an inpatient therapeutic department with 65 beds was opened as part of a general hospital hospital, serving 14 thousand people (head Styazhkina G.N., head nurse Z.M. Suvorov) and a gynecological department with 60 beds (head Zhitnova F.K., head nurse Z.V. Borisova). At the same address opens a clinic for 250 visits per shift. The clinic included a physiotherapy department (head. A.I. Grakhov), a female consultation (head. L.A. Ponomareva), an X-ray office (head. D.V. Sagdakova), a statistics office, a children's clinic (head. L.D. Skripin). Appointments were organized by an ophthalmologist, neuropathologist, otolaryngologist, urologist, infectious disease specialist, dentist. The polyclinic was supervised by A.S. Matveeva, the head nurse - G.N. Devetyarova

1966 - 1967

The population of the rapidly growing district is increasing every year: 1966 - 12,380 people, 1967. - 15339 people. This required an increase in the staff of the medical unit and the development of the material base.

1971

1971 2 dental offices are opened for 1 workplace, and one dental office for 1 workplace is TETs-4 in the children's polyclinic of the medical sanitary station

1972

1972 5 pediatric unit opens.

1974

1974 The children's clinic has been transferred to a new room on the ground floor of a residential lady on the street. Montazhnikov (head. Smirnov V.P.). Here the physiotherapy department begins work. On the street Lomonosova, 8 launched the work of the dental department (head. Zorina G.S.). All this made it possible to free up the area in the clinic, but a significant increase in the population (1972. - 32556 people, 1977. - 58,324 people) required the introduction of new rates of district therapists and new areas.

1976

1976 The office of the FTO in the dental department has been opened.

1977

1977 The 3rd floor of the clinic was built, this made it possible to provide 375 visits per shift. Opened preschool - school department (head. Shakhtorina S.Ya.).

1979

1979 1 therapeutic department continues to work (head. Nakoryakova R.V.).

1980

1980 2 therapeutic department was organized (head Kudrin V.N., head nurse Devetyarova G.N.). The staff of specialized specialists was increased, an endocrinologist's appointment was opened. During this period, the medical sanitary station included the health center TETs-4, TU No. 12, BHZ, a margarine plant, which worked under the methodically organized control of the clinic. Doctors are doing a lot of work on medical examination, anti-epidemic education of the population. Opened 2 pedi-atric departments (head. V.M. Starodubtseva.).

1981

1981 A female consultation opens (head. Ponomareva L.A.), where 5 doctors and 5 midwives worked.

1984

1984 The office of the FTO in the antenatal clinic was opened (head. Elkina B.C., head nurse Efimova A.P.).

1988

1988 Due to the rapid construction of the microdistrict and an increase in population growth (1987 - 65744 people, 1992. - 81972 people) on the first floor of a residential building on the street. Production clinic No. 2 was opened for 250 visits per shift (head. Kudrin V.N., head nurse Ishutinova M.P.). Here the FTO office begins to function. If 40 thousand adults remained in the polyclinic No. 1, 21 therapeutic sites worked, then the entire workshop service was given to polyclinic No. 2, 9 therapeutic sites worked. The department of prevention began to work.

1989

1989 In pursuance of the decision of the Kirov City Executive Committee of 12.07.1988 No. 496 and order of the Kirov city health department of 19.01.89 No. 13 and order for hospital No. 39-K dated 03/03/89 - from 01.03.1989 Medical sanitary station TETs-4 renamed Medical Sanitary Station Kirovenergo.

1990

1990 In view of the closure of polyclinic No. 7, the population of the village of Sadakovsky and adjacent villages was transferred to the medical sanitary station.

1991

1991 In connection with the transfer of settlements of Bakhtinsky, Russky, Kostinsky s/soviets to the administrative subordination of Kirov by order of the GUZ No. 14 of 24.01.91 it was prescribed to provide advisory and diagnostic assistance to patients in the areas of doctors of the Kostinsky outpatient clinic and the Bakhtinsky district hospital.

1992

1992 There were 81972 people serving the hospital. The dental department accepts the status of a dental clinic (head. T.L. Perfilieva, head nurse G.V. Shlykova).

1993

1993 A new building of the dental clinic was opened on the street. Production, 10, designed for 300 visits per shift. The FTO office begins to function. A rehabilitation treatment unit with a staff of 20 positions has been opened.

1994

1994 At the hospital, an intensive care unit is opened (head of the Kryazhevsky N.N.).

1998

1999

2012

Since 2012, in connection with the transition of municipal health care institutions to the regional level, the hospital has been called: Kirov Regional State Budgetary Health Care Institution "Kirov City Hospital No. 8."

On December 1, 2012, the reorganization of the adult polyclinic service of the city of Kirov began. The Kirov City Hospital No. 8 was legally joined by the Kirov City Polyclinic No. 1 (central), the Kirov City Clinical Polyclinic No. 2 (Mayak plant), the Kirov City Polyclinic No. 4 (OCM plant) and the Kirov City Clinical Polyclinic No. 6. The new healthcare institution is called KOGBUZ "Kirov Clinical Hospital No. 8," polyclinics have become its structural units.

2013

In 2013, an advisory and diagnostic center began to work. It was created on the basis of polyclinic No. 5, at the address: Moskovskaya, 6 (previously it was polyclinic No. 1, central). The center concentrates narrow specialists and the most popular diagnostic methods today, a CT scan and an MRI tomograph have been launched. The radiological service is also completely changing, an ultrasound-diagnostic department has been created, the department of endoscopy and functional diagnostics is being reorganized.

2014

In January 2014, the Department of Sports Medicine was opened on the basis of the Kirov Clinical Hospital No. 8. The department works in the building of the polyclinic No. 6 of the Kirov Clinical Hospital No. 8 at the address: Kirov, st. Krasnoarmeyskaya, 30b. The Department of Sports Medicine is engaged in monitoring the health of athletes and athletes, admitting them to competitions and treatment.

During 2013-14, KOGBUZ "Kirov Clinical Hospital No. 8" was formed as the largest institution in the region to provide primary health care and primary specialized medical care to residents of Kirov. In this regard, with the 17.12.2014, the institution was renamed the KOGBUZ "Kirov Clinical and Diagnostic Center." The facility currently employs 260 doctors and 415 paramedics. Due to the staffing of vacant positions of specialist doctors, including diagnostic specialties, as well as the purchase and commissioning of diagnostic equipment, the institution conducts the entire range of examinations by 95% in-house, which makes it possible to ensure the availability and quality of medical care at a high level. Now the center receives doctors in 22 specialties, of which we provide assistance to the entire population of the city of Kirov in 4 specialties. More than 135 thousand residents serve 67 therapeutic sites and 12 sites of a general (family) practitioner. Day hospitals for 256 patient places were organized according to the profiles: therapeutic, neurological, allergological, oncological, surgical and gynecological.
