Environmentally friendly production and "green" products in the Russian market are rather a PR-tool, than the long-term strategy of the companies. Whereas global experience, in particular – experience of Konica Minolta, shows that ecological initiatives allow to optimize and reduce costs of the company, and "green" products entering a portfolio – to make profit. But recently it became noticeable that on "gardening" the separate large domestic companies already understand a world trend, the last begin to implement own environmentally friendly projects, and we hope that our experience will be useful to the Russian players.
