2024: Fine of 15 million rubles for disrupting the construction of an oncological dispensary
In mid-January 2024, it became known that the Kurganstalmost company, which acted as a contractor for the Kurgan oncology dispensary, was fined more than 15 million rubles for disrupting the construction time. The commissioning of the facility lasted about six months.
We are talking about the creation of the surgical building of the Kurgan Regional Oncological Dispensary in the Ryabkovo microdistrict. The customer was the state government institution "Capital Construction Department of the Kurgan Region." Under the terms of the contract, the construction of the surgery center was supposed to be completed in June 2023, but the contractor was able to hand over the facility only at the end of the specified year. In total, more than 1.1 billion rubles were invested in the creation of the building. Against the background of problems with the construction of the center, the head physician of the oncological dispensary Valentin Savchenko resigned.
As reported on the official website of the Unified Information System in the field of procurement, Kurganstalmost CJSC was fined for late fulfillment of obligations provided for by the contract (including a warranty obligation). The amount of recovery is 15,417,938 rubles 95 kopecks.
According to technical documentation, the surgical building of the Kurgan Oncology Dispensary has an area of about 10.8 thousand square meters. The building contains five medical departments: on the second floor - a coloproctology department with 26 beds, on 3-6 floors - oncourological, thoracoabdominal, oncogynecological and oncomammology departments with 30 beds each. On the first floor there are auxiliary departments and premises, while the seventh and eighth floors are reserved for the resuscitation department and the operating unit. As of the end of January 2024, the necessary equipment is being purchased for the center.[1]
