2023: MD Medical Group acquired LDC Biomedicine
MD Medical Group announced the completion of a deal to purchase four clinics in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, owned by LDC Biomedicine. This was reported on the company's website on September 19, 2023.
The acquisition of clinics will allow MD Medical to take a leading position in the district's private medicine and create an outpatient base for sending patients for high-tech services to a hospital in Tyumen. The total amount of the transaction is 349 million rubles and is financed from the group's own funds.
This transaction is a logical continuation of the Group's expansion into interesting and new regions for us. The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug is the leader in economic development among the regions of Russia and will become 27 regions of the Group's presence. We will add our competencies, including in the field of women's health and IVF. The high standards of quality of medical care adopted in the MD Medical Group of Companies and the professional team of doctors in the clinics will allow us to increase the volume of medical care and lead in the region. According to the GC, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug ranks 2nd in terms of the size of the economy in Russia and is of strategic interest for the expansion of MD Medical due to its economic indicators.
LDC Biomedicine is one of the leading clinics in Surgut with an area of 949 sq.m. provides a full range of polyclinic services with MRI diagnostics. The capacity of the clinic is 99 thousand visits per year. The Group acquires a 100% share.
