LeRee LeEco Russia and Eastern Europe

LeRee (LeEco Russia and Eastern Europe) is the subsidiary company of LeEco holding created in 2016 for business in Russia and Eastern Europe and also in the CIS countries. LeRee plans start of basic elements of an ecosystem of LeEco for fall of 2016. On PIEF of 2016 the president and the founder of LeEco Yeting Jia announced intention of the company to invest in the Russian economy from 0.5 to 1 billion US dollars within three years.

2017

LeEco closed the only shop in Russia

The Chinese Internet holding specializing in production and sale of electronics closed in the summer of 2017 of the only shop in Russia. The high cost of lease in capital Atrium shopping Center which the company could not beat off because of the low interest of buyers became the reason.

"At a stage of start LeEco in Russia the flagman shop of a brand carried out an important image task, however for today there is no big need for the expensive showroom for the center of Moscow any more. We analyzed a flow of visitors and sale in this point and came to a conclusion that rent expenses of shop are not repaid. With respect thereto, own shop of a brand it was decided to close and focus on sales through partner retail network and the Internet" — TASS cites Victor's words Xu, the president of LeRee — the LeEco subsidiary company created for conducting sales in Russia, Eastern Europe and the CIS countries^[1].

The company is going to focus on sales via channels of partner retailers (MTS, DNS, Eldorado and Know-how) and the Internet.

The shop in Atrium was open in October, 2016. Invested about $1 million in this point of LeEco and was going to open 150-500 more shops through the whole country by the end of 2018. In total the company was going to invest in the Russian economy to $1 billion within three years.

LeRee became the member of RUIE

LeRee (LeEco Russia and Eastern Europe), subsidiary company of global technology holding LeEco, became the member of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Participation of the first Russian company of the Chinese origin in work of the largest Russian business association will allow to develop a business partnership of two countries effectively.

Record about the entry of Leri LLC was entered in the register by RUIE under registration number 628.09.77. LeRee actually became the first Russian company of the Chinese origin which joined RUIE.

The former top managers of Huawei Russia passed into LeRee

In February, 2017 three former top managers of Huawei Russia company joined the LeEco Russia and Eastern Europe command.

• Namir Al-Mashta who was earlier holding a position of the sales director in Huawei Device Russia company is appointed the commercial director of LeRee. In LeRee Mr. Al-Mashta will be responsible for development retail and online of sales of devices under the LeEco brand. Development of a distribution network and creation of mutually beneficial relations with telecom operators will also fall within the scope of its competences. Earlier Namir within 8 years worked in Huawei Device Russia as the sales director, and before was a chief executive on Southern Caucasian region in Euroset company and also a koorditator on development of products in Viva-Cell K-Telecom company.
• Andrey Belozerov who worked 14 years in Huawei Technologies company on executive positions became the director of LeRee of business development. It went a way from the head of department of promotion to the director of business development with federal operators to Huawei. On new work location Mr. Belozerov will develop cooperation with telecommunication operators.
• Arkady Markaryan who was earlier working as the director of business development in Huawei Device Russia came to LeRee to a position of the chief product officer. Its tasks include start and granting a wide range of products of the company on the markets of Russia and Eastern Europe.
