Investing in the Teachmint video tutorial service
On October 25, 2021, startup Teachmint which helps teachers and institutes create their own virtual classes with several clicks on smartphone and build direct relations with students, announced an investment of $78 million raised. Rocketship.vc and Vulcan Capital funds jointly led the new Series B funding round. Learn Capital also invested in the service. More. here
Investing in Indian online learning platform Teachmint
In early July 2021, Teachmint announced the attraction of $20 million in investments. This round of funding for the Indian startup was the fourth in just 12 months since its inception. More details here.
Investing in Pathrise Career Consulting Service
At the end of May 2021 American , the career development consulting service for technical specialists Pathrise received funding in the amount of $9 million. The Series A round was led by the Learn Capital fund, the service was also invested by Western Technology Investment and founded by the former PR director of the Acronis fund. Investing in Udemy Education Service
In March 2021, it became known that the Winter Capital fund, associated with the head of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin, turned out to be one of the investors in the American company Udemy. The fund, together with Learn Capital (acted as the main investor), took part in the $50 million Series F round. The deal also involved the Chinese Internet giant Tencent. More details here.
2020: Investing in Brainly online platform
The educational technological company Brainly - the owner of service for the joint solution of homeworks of "Knowledge" and community for collective training of pupils, students, parents and teachers - reported on December 17, 2020 to TAdviser about attraction of $80 million in an investment round of series D.
