2023: Construction of a plant for the production of natural cosmetics for 1.5 billion rubles in St. Petersburg

In mid-September 2023, it became known that a large plant for the production of natural cosmetics and household chemicals was being created on the territory of the Novoorlovskaya special economic zone in St. Petersburg. Investments in the formation of the enterprise amount to 1.5 billion rubles.

According to TASS, referring to information received from the Regional Competence Center of St. Petersburg, the project is being implemented by Levrana, which is equally owned by Leonid and Victoria Levran. The firm produces self-care products, dietary supplements, clothing, and also develops a retail chain of the same name. 17 brands are registered with the company: these are, in particular, Freshbubble (products from vegetable ingredients for cleaning the house), Love pets (natural cosmetics for pets), True Alchemy (serums and fluids), elivica (health boosters for active and high-quality life), Neo Care (natural cosmetics), etc.

The new plant is based on the principles of lean production. Its area will be approximately 30 thousand square meters, and the opening is scheduled for 2024. The products will be supplied in, Belarus,, Kazakhstan,, and Kyrgyzstan Mongolia. Serbia Uzbekistan North Macedonia The planned production capacity is 7 million units of cosmetic products and 500 thousand units of dietary supplements per year.

The plant is designed taking into account the effective organization of the working space, the experience of which the company gained thanks to its participation in the national project "Labor Productivity" at the existing production facility, the Regional Competence Center notes.

According to the founder of the company, Leonid Levran, the opening of a new plant will significantly replace Western manufacturers who left Russia in the current geopolitical situation. In addition, the project will help Levrana enter new markets.[1]
