2016: Lexy will receive from Skolkovo 5 million rubles on the solution for speech recognition
The resident of a cluster of information technologies of Skolkovo Foundation Lexy company received in the spring of 2016 from grant committee of Skolkovo Foundation approval of the request for a minigrant in the amount of 5 million rubles. Funds will be allocated for solution development for recognition of the human speech in the conditions of noisy premises.
Dmitry Suvorov, co-founder and CEO of Lexy company: "The grant Skolkovo was required to a command to teach the robot better to understand requests of the person. We requested a grant for solution development based on an array of microphones on localization of sources of a sound and formation of the direction characteristic. It is necessary to recognize the human speech at distance to five meters in noisy conditions. Similar technologies are used in Amazon Echo, but they cannot be applied by third-party producers of home appliances and system integrators. We will build in our solution the house assistant to Lexy and also we will start several external projects with system integrators which express great interest in our development. The developed solution for speech recognition by a number of technical parameters will exceed much the analogs existing in the market".
