LightBank

LightBank is a universal dynamic bank with a full list of services provided to both corporate clients and individuals. The bank has created universal service programs, and practices the development of special products aimed at satisfying the individual characteristics of the activities of the clients served. As of 01.06.2014, the total assets of the bank amounted to 2817.2 million rubles.

On March 29, 2018, by Order of the Bank of Russia, banking licenses were revoked from the credit institution CB Lightbank LLC (Moscow). The problems of CB Lightbank LLC arose in connection with the use of a high-risk business model related to lending to individuals. At the same time, the bank inadequately assessed the quality of the loan portfolio. A proper credit risk assessment revealed a significant decrease in the amount of equity (capital) of CB Lightbank LLC and the existence of a basis for measures to prevent insolvency (bankruptcy), which created a real threat to the interests of its creditors and depositors.

2025: Court recovers ₽1,3 billion from former top executives and beneficiaries

In May 2025, it became known that the City Arbitration Court Moscow established the amount of subsidiary liability of the former managers and owners of Lightbank Design Bureau LLC in the amount of more than ₽1,3 billion. 2023: Former head of Lightbank arrested in $8 million embezzlement case

At the end of November 2023, the Tagansky Court of Moscow arrested the former chairman of the board of Lightbank Konstantin Toguzaev in absentia. He is announced in the theft of an amount of $8 million from the accounts of one of the bank's clients. Read more here.
