2025: Launch of a plant for the production of equipment for wind power plants in the Rostov region for 1.2 billion

The development of the production base corresponds to plans for a large-scale increase in generation on renewable energy sources (RES) in southern Russia. According to a study by the consulting company Kept, the annual cost of integrating renewable energy facilities into the energy system of southern Russia can range from 17 to 339 billion rubles. The amount depends on the target for the share of "green" energy and the ratio between wind and solar generation.[1][2]
