2022: MTT was not sold entirely to MTS, the remaining businesses merged and will remain independent

As it became known to TAdviser, MTT Group will soon rebrand and be renamed. In July 2022, TAdviser was told about this by the general director and co-owner of MTT Group Yevgeny Vasiliev.

According to him, MTS in June 2021 sold 100% of the IP operator MTT (Interregional TransitTelecom). (More here) However, some of the assets were pre-allocated and transferred to MTT Group. Today, the group includes three existing businesses: one of the largest contact centers in the country, Audiotele, a multifunctional business management system LP tracker and a b2b media platform Spark.ru.

As Yevgeny Vasiliev noted, the group's largest asset is now the Audiotele contact center. According to the service "Kontur. Focus," the company employed 998 people by the beginning of 2022, and over the past 5 years, the staff of the contact center has increased annually by an average of 100 employees. The company's revenue in 2021 exceeded 1.4 billion rubles, profit 70 million rubles.

Another area of ​ ​ activity is the LP tracker business management system, including CRM, auto sales ring, chat bots, voice robots, smart telephony, etc. The LPT company has existed since 2015, by the beginning of 2022 it employed 10 people. Since 2018, its financial indicators have fallen, so revenue in 2021 decreased by 5% from 64.2 to 60.4 million rubles. At the end of 2021, the company showed more than 9.4 million rubles of loss.

As Yevgeny Vasiliev noted, the rights to the MTT trademark were sold to MTS along with the main business, so the rebranding of the group was a matter of time. A new brand has already been developed and will be presented in the near future. However, under what brand the group will work, he did not specify.

According to the Kontur.Fokus service, in May 2022, MTT Group filed an application for registration of the boxwood group trademark. Yevgeny Vasiliev did not tell whether this trademark will be used for the entire group or for a new line of business.
