2024: Entering the Russian market

On September 11, 2024, the Turkish brand of household goods Madame Coco entered the Russian market, opening the first store in St. Petersburg in the Mega Dybenko shopping complex. The new store covers an area of ​ ​ more than 400 square meters. m and offers a wide range of textiles, dishes, home accessories and interior items. This is the first brand outlet in St. Petersburg, but by the end of September 2024 it is planned to open another store in the Raduga shopping center on Kosmonavtov Avenue.

According to reports, the RBC brand's entry into the Russian market began a year and a half ago with the opening of a store in Moscow "in "Mega Khimki February 2023. By September 2024, the chain already has nine stores To Moscow in the Moscow region. After St. Petersburg that, the company plans to continue expanding its geography, opening a store Krasnodar in October 2024.

Madame Coco Store

Founded in 2011 in Istanbul, Madame Coco operates 391 stores in 21 countries around the world. In Russia, the brand is actively developing its network in the home goods segment, which was released after leaving the market of large international brands such as Zara Home, H&M Home and IKEA. According to the NF Group, the Russian market is now actively mastered by such brands as Candelabra Home, Cozy Home, as well as the Belarusian analogue of IKEA - Swed House, which began its work in St. Petersburg in 2023.

The legal entity of the Madame Coco brand in Russia is Ocean Friends LLC, registered in 2023. The company is owned by Nurlan Temirgaliev (70%) and Ilyas Kazhibekov (30%), citizens of Kazakhstan (by September 2024).

The area of ​ ​ the Madame Coco store in the Raduga shopping and entertainment complex, which will open in the third decade of September 2024, will be 245 sq. m. In St. Petersburg, the brand plans to take the position of one of the key players in the home goods segment, filling the niche left by the departure of international brands.[1]
