History

Manpower has its history since 1948. Founded in Milwaukee (Wisconsin, USA), the company soon began a rapid expansion of business throughout the United States. In 1956, an office was opened in Canada, and in the same year the first European office in Great Britain began to function .

In more than 60 years of its existence, Manpower has opened 3,600 offices in 80 countries around the world. To date, Manpower's active expansion in the world continues.

Manpower has been on the world's 500 largest corporations for years, according to 'Fortune' magazine. Every year since 2003, Manpower has been the leader in the nomination 'America's Most Respected Talent Company' ('Fortune' magazine).

Manpower's customers include more than 400,000 companies, including leading international corporations, many of which are among the largest corporations in 'Fortune' magazine.
