Maquet is the largest affiliated enterprise of the Swedish concern Getinge Group. The headquarters is located in the German city of Rastatt.
Maquet projects, develops and distributes solutions for therapy, infrastructure of medical institution, including operational halls, hybrid and angegrafichesky operating rooms and chambers of intensive therapy / resuscitation and also resuscitation solutions for cars of crews of medical ambulance.
Performance Indicators
Maquet turnover in 2012 made 1.5 billion euros that made more than a half of an annual income of Getinge Group in 2.7 billion euros.
Structure of the company
For 2016 the structure of Maquet company is created by three divisions:
- Surgical Workplaces is the equipment for operational halls
- Critical Care is the equipment and supplies for intensive care units and intensive therapy
- Cardiovascular is the equipment and supplies for cardiovascular surgery.
Maquet has the representations in 25 countries of the world on all continents, besides, Maquet cooperates more than with two hundred distribution and partner companies in the field of sales and service.
For 2016 the central offices and the Maquet plants are in Germany, Sweden, France, the USA.

History
2011 — Maquet purchases Atrium Medical Inc company, the official representative office of MAQUET in Ukraine, Kiev opens.
2007 — the Maquet company absorbs Oty GmbH company (Telemedicine). Turnover of Maquet company in 2007 made 772.11 million euros.
2000 — the Swedish concern GETINGE AB purchases Maquet company. The independent division within structure of GETINGE — GETINGE Medical Systems is created.
1999 — to Rastatt (Germany) the Surgical Academy of MAQUET company which became a forum for representatives of science, the industry and practical health care opens. These unique international training and research centers also serve as places for holding of conferences, trainings and medical researches.
1933 — the office of Maquet company moves to Rastatt (Germany).
1876 — Curt Mack (Kurt Maquet) who gave the companies the name becomes the owner of the company. By the end of the 19th century, Maquet was awarded 36 international awards for outstanding achievements. Fast development followed also in the field of surgical infrastructure and solutions for ventilation, cardiovascular surgery and anesthesia.
1838 — Johan Friedrich Fischer founds to Heidelberg (Germany) the company on production of wheelchairs for patients and other medical equipment. At this time anesthetics and washing of hands were not an integral part of medical care yet, and Samuel Morse just finished work on the electric telegraph. As the medicine developed also the company developed: from creation of the operating table of the average size before deliveries of complete therapeutic solutions and the medical equipment.
