In the early 2000s, a joint venture insurance of the company "" and the holding RESO-Garantiya of the same name was created Swiss. MedSwiss mainly serves patients insured VHI under RESO-Garantia. Since the founding of the company, its president has been the wife of Sergei Sarkisov, co-owner of the RESO group, Rusudan Makhashvili (as of November 2021, she is the deputy general director of the RESO for work with medical institutions). After the 2008 crisis, she said, the insurer pulled out of the project and the network was sold to the company's management.
