2005: Creation of Media World company, Gurevich is a CEO

2007: Opening of the direction of game services

In December, 2007 it became known that specially created department in Media World company will be engaged in the edition and producing of massively multi-user online games (MMOG), localization foreign and development of own games.

The first game project "Media Mira" — the browser game "Embodiment". The company will act as the publisher of a game. The project is developed by Neokortex company and executed on the basis of Macromedia Flash technology. Access to a game — free, i.e. any Internet user can easily join teams of players, having registered on the www.incarnation.ru portal. And quickly to develop the hero, the player can use paid services of the website^[1].

2012: Change of the CEO

• In the spring of 2012 the CEO of Media of the worlds Mikhail Gurevich left the company together with founders of RBC.

• In August, 2012 Pavel Rogozhin is appointed the new CEO of Media World company.

2013: Kononenko releases Rogozhin from the CEO's duty

In September, 2013 Pavel Rogozhin leaves the company, and the position of the CEO of Mediamir company is held by Kononenko Alexander Evgenyevich.

2014: Sale of Anekdot.ru

On September 26, 2014 the Board of Directors of RBC took into consideration information "about the transaction on alienation by Halverston Holdings Ltd company of a 85 percent share in authorized capital of Анекдот.ру LLC (owns the website anekdot.ru). It is said in materials of disclosure of information of media holding. Council approved sale of the portal, transaction amount is not disclosed, it should come to the end in October.

Halverston Holdings through which RBC owns a packet in anekdot.ru is also the owner of popular service of online acquaintances of Loveplanet.ru (Lavplanet LLC) and Media World LLC. The last is created in 2005 for development of entertaining online projects, approximately then RBC was purchased by control in "Анекдот.ру". This website is founded in 1995 by Dmitri Verner, every day on it the latest issues of jokes, stories, rhymes and caricatures appear. It is one of the oldest websites of Runet, to the transaction with RBC the domain anekdot.ru belonged to structures of the businessman Evgeny Roytman. Daily the website anekdot.ru, according to own data, was visited by about 100 thousand human.

"So far all financial and legal issues are not closed yet, but we are glad that the project based on the transaction and settlement will be consolidated in hands of his creator who for many years was the Chief Editor of a resource" — the CEO of Media World LLC Alexander Kononenko commented.

2015

Sale of the QIP.ru portal and its satellites

The team of players from the market of CPA networks redeemed in the spring of 2015 from RBC the QIP.ru project and all its main satellites^[2].

The transaction included the QIP.ru website and all main satellites: aggregator of news News.qip.ru, educational 5ballov.qip.ru database; entertaining services: selection of tests and polls of Aeterna.qip.ru, astrological information of Horo.qip.ru, service of creation of screenshots of the screen of the user of Shot.qip.ru, system of the forums Borda.ru and Forum24.ru; free hosting of QIP.ru and space for storage and data exchange of Files.qip.ru.

As a part of the portal the mail service of QIP.ru was also sold.

Within strategy for development priority for RBC — business — projects we sold one more large entertaining resource – the QIP.ru portal. The command which works not the first year at the market of CPA networks acted as the buyer and it is interested in further development of the project by its consolidation with the current assets and start of new products based on the QIP brand. Sale of the domain pochta.ru

In June, 2015 it became known that Russian Post redeemed the domain pochta.ru from Media of the Mira.

"At the moment the transaction in a closing stage. Considering huge social value of Russian Post as link between the population and the state transaction amount will be symbolical" — told "Rambler-Novostyam" in the press service of mail^[3].

"Sale of the domain pochta.ru, became the completing transaction on sale of entertaining assets of Media of the Worlds — the CEO of this company Alexander Kononenko told Rambler of News.

"Sale of such sonorous domain as pochta.ru, a milestone event for Runet. For understanding and storing of domain name which can be associated as much as possible with Russian Post it is difficult to provide simpler. I think that in total with the updated concept of promotion this transaction will give very positive effect for image of Russian Post and its active development on the Internet" — Kononenko told.

By agreement with the new owner of the domain and new owners of the QIP Mail, the continuous operability of mail of all users who have e-mails in the zone @pochta.ru will be performed. "It was an important condition transaction" — Kononenko explained.

the Court obliged Rogozhin to return a loan of the company

In October, 2015 it became known that Media of the Worlds filed a lawsuit against the former CEO Pavel Rogozhin. Him want to force to pay the loan taken from the company in the amount of 1.2 million rubles. On October 8, 2015 the owner of Media of the Mira won the dragged-out process — court's decision became effective.

Pavel Rogozhin came to Media of the Worlds in August, 2012 from Rambler&Co holding where he held a position of the development director of the Rambler poster project. As it appears from case papers, in two months after appointment, on October 31, 2012, it as the CEO of Media of the Mira issued for itself(himself) a loan in the amount of 1.2 million rubles for a year (till November 2, 2013) at the rate of 12% per annum.

In September, 2013 Alexander Kononenko became the new CEO of Media of the Mira. In the time set by the agreement Rogozhin did not pay a loan amount and interests. Media of the Worlds sent to the former CEO a claim with the requirement to pay a debt. In reply Rogozhin reported that on August 26, 2013 terms of loan were changed to them: the payment due date was prolonged till December 31, 2017, and charge of percent is stopped since January 1, 2013.

— On the debts it is necessary to pay, and change of key terms of the contract of a loan can be compared to fraud — Alexander Kononenko said to Izvestia. — We want to recover justice for this reason took legal action.

Pavel Rogozhin refused to comment on the conflict.

In May, 2014 the Arbitration court of the city of Moscow supported Media of the Mira and recognized that prolongation of a payment due date of a loan till 2017 is invalid.

"The defendant, performing functions of sole executive body of the claimant, working from his name, made the transaction with interest. The specified transaction was not approved by a general meeting of participants of society", said in court's decision.

According to the charter of Media World LLC, general meeting of participants of society makes the decision concerning transactions with interest.

Rogozhin took Arbitration court of the Moscow district with the writ of appeal. He did not begin to dispute a case for prosecution, but said that rules of jurisdiction are violated. The dispute should be considered by court of law. The court supported Rogozhin.

Media of the Worlds took the Supreme Court of Russia with the writ of appeal — and was refused.

"The dispute cannot be carried to maintaining arbitration court — the individual which does not have the status of the individual entrepreneur", said in the decision of the Supreme Court participates in it.

Then the 100 percent owner of Media World — the Halverston Holdings Limited company (it is registered on the British Virgin Islands, it is affiliated with RBC according to the reporting of this holding) submitted a claim to the company "Media World" and to Pavel Rogozhin to Arbitration court of Moscow with the requirement to recognize the agreement which prolonged payment of a loan till 2017, invalid. The court supported the claimant. Rogozhin tried to dispute this solution, but on October 8, 2015 the Ninth arbitration Court of Appeal confirmed it. The court order became effective, but it can be appealed within two months in Arbitration court of the Moscow district.

— Within a month after entry into force of court's decision the writ of execution will be issued and enforcement proceeding will begin — Candidate of Law Sciences Nikita Isaev, the director of Institute of relevant economy explains. — Both the debt body, and percent will be by a court decision collected. In this case 12% per annum — it about 145 thousand rubles in a year^[4].

According to Isaev, for illegal deduction of someone else's money according to Article 395 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation by the claimant the double penalty — 12% per annum under the agreement plus a penalty in the amount of a refunding rate could be stated (now 8.25%. — Izvestia).
