2020: Sergey Shishkin became the owner of Medianna

On November 10, 2020 there was information that Medianna LLC (owns 80% "Рамблер&Ко" through which Rambler Group it manages the internet- MEDIA including Lenta.ru, "Gazeta.ru", "Чемпионат.com", etc.) since November 9 belongs To Sergey Shishkin to the former managing director of entertaining division "Gazprom Media". It follows from data of the USRLE. As the result, Sergey Shishkin became the owner of 80% of perimeter of media of Sber. Earlier owners of Medianna were the businessman Alexander Mamut and his company "ANN of Holdings".^[1]

Thus Sberbank which at the end of October consolidated 100% of Rambler Group performed requirements of the law on media prohibiting to foreigners to own more than 20% of the capital of the Russian media, reported RBC. In capital stock of Sberbank legal nonresident persons as of August 1, 2020 possess 43.5%, i.e. the bank could not become the individual owner of the registered media.^[2]

"Sergey worked in the largest media holdings of Russia, such as CTC Media, Video International (now — NRA), Gazprom Media. It has experience of development, financial management, monetization both different television channels, and digital resources and digital media" — the representative of Sberbank specified.
