History
2024: Launch of electronics production for resuscitation medical equipment
Medplant, a resident of the Technopolice Moscow special economic zone, has opened a modernized workshop for the production of electronic modules for medical devices. This became known in early January 2025. The capacity of the new production will be 20 thousand modules annually.
According to the portal of the mayor of Moscow, the new workshop with an area of 600 square meters. meters is located on the Pechatniki site. Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, said that in the nine months of 2024 the company received ₽40 million tax benefits.
Maxim Bagma, Deputy Head of Production, stressed that the company has launched a surface installation line for the independent manufacture of electronic modules, which will increase the localization of production. The modules will be used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation performance indicators, portable monitors and syringe dispensers.
The company developed and patented in 2024 a device for indirect massage of the heart with adaptation for various stiffness of the chest. Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ, noted that after receiving the registration certificate, mass production of the device will begin.
As part of the expansion of production facilities, the company reorganized the space, moving the sewing workshop to new premises and placing the modernized production of electronic medical devices on the vacant area.
Medplant, which received the status of a SEZ resident in 2018, uses tax incentives and customs preferences to invest in the development of innovative medical equipment. The production of electronic modules will provide components for various types of resuscitation and diagnostic equipment.[1]
