"MEGA Pharm" develops brands A-MEGA, "Yes, It Is Healthy!" and Alphabet of Life. For January, 2018 the MEGA Pharm pharmacy chain contains 880 drugstores across all Russia, from them 828 - within cooperation with Retail Group X5, 26 - in prikassovy zones of shops "Alphabet of Taste".

According to preliminary data the companies, in 2017 revenue of MEGA Pharm pharmacy chain made 4.4 billion rubles.

2017 – the first complete calendar year of the work – "MEGA" completed Pharm already with 870 drugstores. For October, 2017, the network contained more than 600 drugstores in 32 regions of Russia, until the end of 2017 their quantity according to the plan had to exceed 900.

"MEGA Pharm" continued cooperation with X5, developing brands A-MEGA and "Yes, It Is Healthy!" and also in partnership with Alphabet of Taste opened drugstores of a bonus segment under the Alphabet of Life brand. Besides, drugstores in the Medical center of Elena Malysheva, at railway stations of Moscow, etc. were open. Drugstores "MEGA Pharm" are provided in 32 regions of Russia today.

The project investment cost made about 3 billion rubles, revenue – 4.4 billion rubles. The average bill of network is 450 rubles, in a bonus segment the average bill reaches 1300-1500 rubles.

"Main growth drivers of sales of network are joint marketing actions with Pyaterochka shops, first of all, of course, Mega-Wednesday thanks to which we receive double inflow of buyers, - the CEO "MEGA Pharm" Andrey Gusev says. – The same effective action, but already for "Yes, it is healthy!", there were Days of Beauty on Fridays. In Alphabets of Life the unique range allowing to receive an average bill much above the market is created".
"The strategy of partnership with large retail chain stores meaning not only opening of pharmaceutical points in territories of shops, but also joint marketing activities, confirmed the solvency, - the chairman of the board, the managing partner of Marathon Group Sergey Zakharov says. – The rate of work taken by the MEGA Pharm command - about 2 drugstores in day on average opened – resulted by the end of the year in good result, however ahead at a command there is a lot more work: colleagues are faced by problems of preserving of high rates of opening of new points, significant increase in total revenue, return of investments".

By 2021 the network is going to open more than 4 thousand drugstores through the whole country.

Mikhail Kazakov's appointment CEO

The MEGA Pharm pharmacy chain announced on October 15, 2018 Mikhail Kazakov's appointment the CEO of the company. He released Andrey Gusev who left "MEGA Pharm" from this duty.

Start of sales under own Vitamia and Bioline brands

In March, 2018 the pharmacy chain Magician of Pharm begins implementation of dietary supplements and products of medical appointment under two own trademarks (OT) - Vitamia and Bioline. The goods of STM produced on platforms of partners are available for sale in drugstores in March, 2018.

Under only two brands of STM "MEGA Pharm" is going to issue more than 40 names - vitamins, dietary supplements, cosmetics and products of medical appointment. New products are intended especially for sale in drugstores A-MEGA and "Yes, are healthy!" will also take the place on average and lower price segments. So, the price of the products Vitamia will be on average 30% lower than the cost of analogs of other producers, Bioline - flush with competitors in the lowest price segment. Until the end of 2018 the nomenclature of STM will be expanded to 250 positions.

In parallel with STM "MEGA Pharm" the leading brand which included some categories of medicines, dietary supplements, medical cosmetics, the iatrotechnics among which - antiseptics for Sanitelle hands, Librederm brand cosmetics, antibacterial means for treatment of cold Sialor begins to develop actively the program. By December, 2018 the leading brand to 750 is going to finish quantity.

"Today attendance of our network reaches 90 thousand people a day, it is quite good result, but the purpose at us much ambitsiozny, - the CEO "MEGA Pharm" Andrey Gusev says. - Start of STM and the program a leading brand – the logical steps in development of retail business directed, on the one hand, to increase in loyalty of buyers with another, on increase in marginality".

By the end of 2018 the joint share of STM and a leading brand will make, according to preliminary data, not less than 10% of turnover and not less than 18% of a gross profit "MEGA Pharm".

2016: Start of creation of pharmacy chain

The project on construction of the largest pharmacy chain in Russia was begun in June, 2016 with opening of the first drugstore "Yes, is healthy!" in Moscow, by the end of the year in cooperation with X5 Retail Group "MEGA Pharm" managed 172 drugstores.
