By decree of the Governor of the Omsk Region dated April 26, 2022 No. 64[1], the Ministry of Communications, Digital] and Scientific and Technical industries scientifically Development of the[1] Region was reorganized by separating the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Omsk Region from the Ministry of Industry, Communications, Digital and Scientific and Technical Development Development of the Omsk Region.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Omsk Region transferred the functions of the Ministry of Industry, Communications, Digital and Scientific and Technical Development of the Omsk Region in the fields of communications, telecommunications, information security, information technology development and digital development of the Omsk Region.

2013: Renamed the Main Department of Information Technologies and Communications of the Omsk Region

By the Decree of the Governor of the Omsk Region dated September 6, 2013 No. 123[3], the Ministry of Industrial Policy, Communications and Innovative Technologies of the Omsk Region was renamed the Main Directorate of Information Technologies and Communications of the Omsk Region.

2012: Transformation into the Ministry of Industrial Policy, Communications and IT of the Omsk Region

By decree of the Governor of the Omsk Region of August 9, 2012 No. 77[4], the Ministry of Industrial Policy, Transport and Communications of the Omsk Region was transformed into the Ministry of Industrial Policy, Communications and Innovative Technologies of the Omsk Region, its functions for the development and implementation of state policy in the field of transport were transferred to the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Housing and Communal Complex of the Omsk Region.

2009: Reorganization

By decree of the Governor of the Omsk Region of June 16, 2009 No. 57[5], the Ministry of Industrial Policy, Transport and Communications [5] the Omsk Region was reorganized by joining the Main Directorate of Information Technologies and Telecommunications of the Omsk Region.
