Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Irkutsk Region

The Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Irkutsk Region is the executive body of state power of the Irkutsk Region, which performs functions in the field of economic development of the Irkutsk Region to determine strategic directions for the development of the economy of the Irkutsk Region, state regulation of the economy of the Irkutsk Region; development of foreign economic, international and interregional relations of the Irkutsk region; assessing the effectiveness of the executive bodies of state power of the Irkutsk region; participation in the implementation of state policy in the field of small and medium-sized business development; state regulation of investment activities in the Irkutsk region; implementation of the powers of the Government of the Irkutsk Region in the field of public-private partnership; coordination of the work of the executive bodies of state power of the Irkutsk region and local self-government bodies of municipalities of the Irkutsk region to improve control and supervisory activities; on the formation and implementation of industrial policy in the Irkutsk region; to provide regional state support for innovation activities and manage scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities.

History

2021: Renamed the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Irkutsk Region

By the Decree of the Government of the Irkutsk Region of May 26, 2021 No. 361-pp^[1], the Ministry of Economic Development of the Irkutsk Region was renamed the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Irkutsk Region.

2014: Accession of the Ministry of Industrial Policy and Forestry of the Irkutsk Region

By the Decree of the Government of the Irkutsk Region of November 25, 2014 No. 589-pp^[2], the Ministry of Economic Development of the Irkutsk Region was reorganized in the form of joining the Ministry of Industrial Policy and Forestry of the Irkutsk Region.
