Ministry of Digital Development of the Kaluga Region

The tasks of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kaluga Region are to form and implement a state policy in the field of the digital economy, digital development and the information society in the Kaluga Region in order to improve the quality of life of citizens, develop the economic, socio-political, cultural and spiritual spheres of society, and improve the public administration system based on the use of information and telecommunication technologies.

2018: Decree on establishment of ministry signed

In July 2018, a decision was made in the Kaluga Region to create the Ministry of Digital Development. The corresponding decree was signed in December 2018. Alexander Arkhangelsky became the head of the ministry.
