Appointment of Larisa Tarasova as Minister of Health

On July 14, 2025, the head of the Chuvash Republic, Oleg Nikolaev, appointed Larisa Tarasova to the post of Minister of Health of the region. In this post, she replaced Olesya Ignatieva, who headed the department since May 2025. Read more here

2022: The Ministry of Health of Chuvashia was convicted of collusion with the DRG Tekhsystems

The Commission of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the Chuvash Republic (OFAS) considered the information of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Chuvash Republic and recognized the regional Ministry of Health and ZAO DRG Tekhsystems as having violated paragraph 1 of part 1 of article 17 of the Law on Protection of Competition. 2015: Renaming to the Ministry of Health of the Chuvash Republic

By decree of the Head of the Chuvash Republic of September 30, 2015 No. 134, the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Chuvash Republic was renamed the Ministry of Health of the Chuvash Republic^[1]. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Chuvash Republic transferred functions in the field of labor and social development.
