The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara Region is an executive body of the Samara Region, implementing the state policy in the field of labor relations, labor protection, employment of the population and migration policy in the Samara region and ensuring the implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens of the Russian Federation to free and fairly paid work in conditions, meeting the requirements of safety and hygiene, social protection against unemployment, state regulation and control in the field of labor, employment and migration policy in the Samara region (Regulation on the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara Region, approved by Decree of the Government of the Samara Region of June 19, 2012 No. 278[1]).

History

2012: Reorganization into the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara Region

The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara Region was formed by Decree of the Government of the Samara Region on June 19, 2012 No. 278 by transforming the Department of Labor and Employment of the Population of the Samara Region. The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara Region is the successor to the reorganized Department.

2009: Activities of the Department of Labor and Employment of the Samara Region

The Department of Labor and Employment of the Samara Region was an executive body of the Samara Region, which carried out state policy in the field of labor relations, labor protection and employment in the Samara Region and ensures the implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens of the Russian Federation to free and fairly paid work in conditions that meet the requirements of safety, hygiene, and social protection against unemployment (Decree of the Government of the Samara Region of March 25, 2009 No. 138 On the Department of Labor and Employment of the Population of the Samara Region).
