Ministry of State Property of the Republic of Mari El

In accordance with the Regulation on the Ministry of State Property of the Republic of Mari El, approved by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Mari El No. 39 of February 5, 2018, the Ministry is an executive body of the Republic of Mari El authorized to carry out:

• the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of property and land relations;
• Management and disposal, within the limits of its competence, of State owned property of the Republic of Mari El, including land under State owned property of the Republic of Mari El, with the exception of land plots of the forest fund and land occupied by water bodies;
• management and disposal within the limits of their competence of land plots, other real estate objects, federally owned, in respect of which an interdepartmental collegiate body authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation has decided on the advisability of transferring to the state authorities of the Republic of Mari El the exercise of the powers of the Russian Federation to manage and dispose of land plots, other federally owned immovable property for the purposes of, Federal Act No. 161-FZ of 24 July 2008 on the promotion of housing construction;
• the solution of questions of land turnover and the land plots of agricultural purpose and the translation of lands and land plots from one category in another. ​
