The MODIS collections combine trends of the world fashion adapted to needs of the Russian consumers, a modern cut, quality fabrics and permanently low prices.

Retail network

For July, 2015 the network integrates 138 shops more than in 70 cities, including 8 in Moscow.

At the beginning of 2016 opening of several shops of the new concept is planned.

History

The company was founded in 2006.

In 2012 Modis is positioned as the first national network of hypermarkets of fashionable clothes for all family. In network 40 shops discounters work in 26 cities of Russia at this time, until the end of 2012 growth of quantity of retail outlets by 50% was planned, and by 2015 the number of shops in network had to reach several hundred.

"Our uniqueness is that we offer the affordable prices in a segment of fashionable clothes, and to us in Russia nobody did it. To have low prices, it is necessary to build correctly a business model, mathematically precisely to calculate cash flows. For big network it is necessary to make big purchases, to control costs tightly and thus to have an opportunity to offer low price to buyers. Today we already enter ten the fashionable companies in the Russian market, and we keep the leading position in the segment of fashionable discounters", - Denis Dolmatov, the CEO of Modis network told in 2012.

2015

For July, 2015 in the company more than 2200 employees work. At this time the company declared sales plans in 2015 at the level of about 200 million dollars.

The average price of a commodity unit on the shelf: May of 2015 - 339 rub, May of 2014 - 245 rub.

There is an optimization of work with suppliers: 2014: 90% of purchases in China, 170 suppliers. 2015: 70% of purchases in China, 60 suppliers. Plan for 2016: 60% of purchases in China, 40% of purchases are the near countries.
