After installing the solution, the administrator selects the valid authentication methods, and the end user connects the most convenient ones available at the first login. By January 27, 2020, Multifactor supports five authentication methods:

  • universal web authentication with support for Webauthn biometrics using the U2F, UAF, FIDO, CTAP protocols - biometric sensors and scanners, as well as external authentication devices connected via USB, Lightning, NFC or Bluetooth;
  • authentication via Telegram Messenger - when entering, the user receives a request for confirmation or rejection of authentication;
  • OTP tokens - external devices that generate one-time codes to confirm entry;
  • Google Authenticator and Yandex.key, applications for generating one-time codes using a mobile device;
  • familiar SMS messages with a one-time login code.

The cost of using the service depends on the number of users: you can connect Multifactor to log in 1-3 users for free, for 4-10 users the subscription fee will be 1,490 rubles per month, for 11-30 users - 2,490 rubles per month. Solutions for more users are charged individually.

Konstantin Yan said that Russia lacks services that allow creating a high-quality infrastructure in the field of information security without capital expenditures. The creators of the Multifactor project want to enable businesses of all sizes to use enterprise-class tools to protect their IT systems, he said.
