2021: Leaving Russia

On May 31, 2021, German online retailer MyToys, specializing in the sale of children's goods, officially announced the curtailment of business in Russia. Relevant information appeared on the company's website. It also lists several achievements of MyToys in the Russian Federation:

  • Over 10 years of work, more than 4 million orders were completed and more than 12 million goods were delivered;
  • More than 117 million users visited the myToys.ru all the time;
  • Products of more than 2500 brands were presented;
  • Bjorka has created its own brand of children's clothing.

It notes that orders made before May 31, 2021 will be delivered to buyers, on June 1 it is impossible to make a purchase on the site.

Before leaving Russia, myToys arranged a final sale. In comments on the Instagram account, a representative of the store noted: if customers want to issue returns after May 31, the company will process them.

The retailer is part of the German Otto Group. Online stores Quelle and Otto, also owned by the group, have previously left Russia.
