2024: Bills seized

On September 26, 2024, it became known that the Prosecutor's Office of the Rostov Region sent to the court a demand for the recovery of 470 million rubles from JSC Production and Installation Enterprise NATEK (JSC PMP NATEK) as compensation for damage caused by violation of legislation in the field of state defense order. The company's accounts have been seized.

The production site of PMP NATEK JSC is located in the city of Taganrog in the Rostov region. The Company is engaged in the design, manufacture and installation of facilities for the chemical, petrochemical, energy, oil and gas, metallurgical, automotive and food industries, as well as civilian and military facilities. One of the areas of activity is the construction of cell towers.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, the lawsuit against PMP NATEK JSC was filed by the prosecutor's office in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry. As a third party in the case is the FSUE "Main Directorate of Special Construction," subordinate to the Ministry of Defense. What exactly the claims are connected with is not specified at the time of filing the application to the court. However, it is said that by its actions the enterprise caused significant harm to the interests of the Ministry of Defense in the conditions of the SVO.

The prosecutor's office of the Rostov region has achieved a number of restrictive measures against JSC PMP NATEK - a ban on the registration of real estate and transport of the defendant, as well as the seizure of funds in his accounts. The management of the enterprise declares that these actions can lead to a breakdown of work on state contracts, including within the framework of the state defense order. In addition, the company cannot pay employees' salaries (432 people), insurance premiums and taxes. Nevertheless, the arbitration court, having examined the defendant's arguments, refused to cancel the interim measures.[1]
