National medical and surgical center of N.I. Pirogov

Federal state institution "National medical and surgical center of N.I. Pirogov" is multi-profile medical, scientific and educational institution of Russia.

The center provides the medical care based on application of modern hi-tech methods of treatment, the organization and rendering diagnostic, medical, rehabilitation and preventive services.

History

2020: Receiving a subsidy in the amount of 2.97 billion rubles for purchase of field hospitals and medical products

The national medical and surgical center (NMTsH) of N.I. Pirogov received subsidies in the amount of 2.97 billion rubles for purchase of medical products, medicines, field multi-profile hospitals and their equipment and also on acquisition of sanitary and specialized motor transport and other equipment. It is said at the disposal of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 10, 2020.

It is noted that funds from the state budget are allocated for the purpose of implementation by the center "functions of body of daily management of the All-Russian service of medicine of accidents at the federal level and ensuring coordination of interaction of its governing bodies and also uses of forces and means, including implementation of medical evacuation". NMHTs of N.I. Pirogov will have to make the specified purchases until the end of 2020.

NMHTs of N.I. Pirogov received 2.97 billion rubles on purchase of field hospitals and medical products

According to the document published on the official portal of legal information, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation will have to check target and effective use of allocated funds of budgetary appropriations. Department is obliged to provide to the government the corresponding report no later than April 1, 2021.

In October, 2020 it became known that government contracts of the medical university of Pirogov will be checked by Accounts Chamber. The corresponding inquiry addressed to the head of regulatory authority Alexey Kudrin was sent by deputies of the State Duma.

It is supposed that audit of financial activities of university will affect the period since 2011 till present. Special attention — to the companies with which the rector Sergey Lukyanov could be connected.

Earlier the Izvestia newspaper wrote how the private firm as which cofounder the head of the university is registered received 17 contracts for total amount of 62 million budget rubles.^[1]
