Veles Capital is a Russian investment company. The founders and owners of the company - Dmitry Bugaenko and Alexey Gnedovsky - have been developing and managing the investment business since 1995.

As of June 2020, Veles Capital is engaged in asset trust management and brokerage services in the securities market Russia in and abroad, offering wealthy private and corporate investors a full range of financial instruments. The company is also actively involved in organizing debt financing programs - bond and bill loans.

History

2020: Confirmation of credit ratings at the "BB-/B" level

In February 2020, the rating agency S&P confirmed the long-term and short-term credit ratings of Veles Capital investment company at the BB-/B level with a stable forecast. The company was also assigned a creditworthiness rating of the Expert RA agency at the RuA + level with a stable forecast (confirmed in December 2019).

2019

Inclusion in the Unified Register of Investment Advisers of the Bank of Russia

In 2019, Veles Capital was included in the unified register of investment advisers of the Bank of Russia, confirming the organization's right to conduct investment consulting activities. The register contains only those organizations and individual entrepreneurs who have the necessary qualifications and experience, as well as qualitatively perform their work in the interests of clients.

Provision of guarantees for placement of 72 bond loans

In 2019, Veles Capital provided guarantees for the placement of 72 bond loans totaling about 53 billion rubles. According to various estimates, the company provides about 55% of the total turnover of bills of exchange in Russia.

2017

According to information as of July 2017, Veles Capital is one of the few Russian investment companies with an international credit rating (S&P rating at the level of "BB-/B/ruAA-," the forecast is "stable," confirmed in 2017). The company is in the top 10 operators of the Moscow Exchange in terms of customer transactions (over 4 trillion rubles in 2016). The total turnover of the company in the securities market in 2016 exceeded 11 trillion rubles.

2013

Veles Capital is a group of companies. Since 1995, it has been providing services to private and corporate investors in the securities market, in the field of private equity, corporate finance and real estate investments.

As of December 2013, it is one of the TOP-5 largest investment companies in Russia in terms of turnover (data from RBC. Rating "at the end of 2012): the total volume of transactions with securities in 2012 exceeded 6.6 trillion rubles. The company ranks first in the ranking of organizers of promissory notes loans of corporate issuers in Russia, is one of the TOP-25 investment banks - underwriters of the Russian bond market according to Cbonds (I quarter of 2013).
